Collaboration with EU Sister Projects - Updates

GREAT is a member of the EU Games for Culture Cluster, with the main ambition is to create new emerging forms of play to benefit society. It aims to provide evidence and promote the impact that the Games can have in European society. Emphasis is given on:

• The ethical aspects of the game creation and gameplay.

• The co-design practices to develop games that are beneficial for society, and Innovative technological solutions to improve games in terms of their efficiency for education, skillsets, responsible business models, social cohesion, creativity and more.

Besides GREAT, there are 5 other projects in the cluster:

EPIC-WE (Empowered Participation through Ideating Cultural Worlds and Environments)

i-Game (Building a community for the co-creation of games with high impact on innovation, sustainability, social cohesion, and growth)

LoGaCulture (Locative games for cultural heritage)

MEMENTOES (Immersive games for museums as vehicles to engage visitors in emphathetic responses)

MuseIT (Multi-sensory, User-centred, Shared cultural experiences through interactive technologies)

We are also currently exploring the possibility of participating in the Nordic Game Event taking place in Malmö, Sweden, in May 2025. Watch this space!
